I Love My Job

Do you do what you love? Orange Mud has been a dream come true on so many levels. I get to spend more time with my family (even though I may work even more than before), I get to take photos for a living (something I’ve always loved to do), I get to design things to make a healthier and happier lifestyle, and it brings me joy daily. How freaking cool is that? Granted life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows daily or anything, it’s a lot of freaking work, but it’s a different type of work.

The pic below was the most fun photo shoot so far as the colors just popped in the environment and matched our gear perfectly. Getting the right shot starts with the background and lighting. An iphone can do a lot of the rest, let alone a big fancy camera. If you look at the pictures and video of our Gear Quiver, Gym Bag, and Messenger Bag you’ll see we really nailed it with graffiti in this old water storage facility with very little post edit.

I’m also happy to say that the bag in this pic is in Men’s Journal as we speak. Check it out and share it across your networks if you don’t mind. They deemed it “The Last Gym Bag You Need”, perfectly on target for our intent. Link here!

I wish you all the best of success in life and hope that your path is, or will be, at a happy place too. Or who knows, maybe we’ll work together at Orange Mud?
